The purpose of this AGILE privacy policy is to inform you how AGILE treats personal information gathered about you when you register for, and use Agile Messenger client software, how we may use that information and the choices you have regarding the use and disclosure of such information.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that AGILE does not own or control or to people that AGILE does not employ or manage, such as the various IM networks that can be accessed via the AGILE client

Privacy

AGILE respects your right to privacy and observes the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable data protection laws.

The Agile Messenger client connects directly to all IM networks and any data sent is directly to the recipient through the servers of the respective IM network and are not sent through Agilemobile.com's servers in any way*. Agilemobile.com does not monitor, log, save or copy user conversations in any shape or form

When the user logs on to the IM networks our authentication servers may mediate between the client and IM network servers in which case the login details of the user may be relayed over our systems. Communication between the client and our systems is secure and encrypted. No login info is stored or logged on our systems in any way, shape or form

Agilemobile.com collects the IMSI and MSIDN to determine the country and operator and to identify the user for authentication purposes and to facilitate the subscription process. No further identifiable user info is collected or stored.

Use of Personal Details

Our database of personal details including but not limited to usage data such as time spent online, country of user and IM service preference is used by us, for the following general purposes: providing the AGILE service, improving our services, conducting research and client administration.

If you choose to register for a service we may specifically ask you for additional information in order to provide that service to you.

Data Retention

Multimedia Messages, audio, images, and "Push to Talk" messages are uploaded to a media page which is not password protected and freely accessible to the public. Although Agilemobile.com does not distribute or publish links to individual media pages, any content uploaded to the media page should be considered public domain and no privacy can be guaranteed by Agilemobile.com. Any audio or picture messages are deleted from our media pages after 72 hours

We also record information about your questions to us and your purchases so that we and you can keep track of what you've asked about or ordered directly on our site. Additionally, we may need to contact you about your questions and/or your orders.

AGILE does not rent, sell or disclose your contact details to any other third party.
